From Our Pastors

Dear Believer, Friend, & Partner,

We are in the last days, and the spirit of selfishness is increasing throughout the world and it has leaked into the church.

As Peter said, the end of all things is at hand, and above all things we are to have fervent love for one another.

As Jesus admonished us, we are to return to our first love. We are to love the Lord God with all our hearts, soul, strength, and might. We are to love our neighbour as ourselves. Above all, we need to develop in the love of God so as to come into the fullness of what God has for us.

The Agape love of God is an undefeatable, unquenchable good will that always seeks the highest for the other person. We must grow and develop in the Agape love of God. We need to be fully persuaded that God loves us as much as He loves Jesus.

The Agape love of God is in us. It is our new nature in Christ. We are able to love as God loves. However, we need to stir up the love of God in us by acknowledging and confessing the love of God in us.

1 John 2:5 and 1 John 4:12 states that the love of God is perfected and developed in us as we keep the Word of God and practice loving one another.

We must hold the Word, concerning the love of God, in our mind. We must value and treasure it. Let the Word permeate our consciousness. We do this by meditating on the Word day and night; by verbalizing and declaring that the Love is in us. Let us visualize ourselves walking in the Love of Go and praise God because the love of God is a reality in our lives. We are to do this day and night, and night and day. Repetition is necessary.

We develop the love of God by practicing doing the Word of God. So, let us confess our love for one another and do good in thought, word, and deed. Remember that love covers a multitude of sins. Do not be harsh, judgemental, or critical. Overlook and disregard the shortcomings and offences of others. Let us learn to love our enemies.

Finally, we need to keep ourselves in the love of God, maintain our love walk, and be quick to repent when we miss it.

By doing the above constantly, we will become rooted and grounded in the love of God; we will be filled with all the fullness of God. We will be enriched and wealthy in every area of our lives.

Love never ceases,
Pastors Ian & Daad Taylor
